From a motivated theatre student:

This may seem very random, but I would greatly appreciate it if you could spend a bit of your time to read through this.  I am in a theatre class in Sunny Hills High School. Currently, my class is preparing for a play called, "Hidden," written by Paul Beidler. This play is based on the Diary of Anne Frank, and is about the Holocaust. We have just started rehearsals 2 weeks ago and have started on building our character. To help us get a better understanding of the Holocaust and with our character work we decided to go on a field trip to the Museum of Tolerance. For all of our tech class and theatre class to go we need to earn up to $2,500, as of now we have already made $680! This play is very important to us and I, as well as my theatre department, understand that we as an actor carry a huge responsibility to send the right message across to the audience through this play, and it would be an insult if we don't do this properly.

If you do decide to donate or want to know more about this here is the website:

From a motivating teacher:

As a theatre teacher, I have the joy of teaching young adults how to storytell and bring characters to life. Sometimes we have the honor to tell true stories about real people. For our winter play, HIDDEN: The Story of Anne Frank, we have a huge responsibility to get these stories right.

Our cast and crew is taking a fieldtrip to the Museum of Tolerance in L.A. in order to understand the history of the Holocaust, and to specifically visit the new exhibit: "Anne." Please help us make this trip possible! We need funds to cover the tickets and bus to transport everyone up to L.A. and back.  Any amount that you can contribute is appreciated- no amount is too small!

We truly believe that this experience will help our young aspiring actors connect with the history of the Franks, the VanDaans, and those who helped them hide in the Secret Annex. We believe we have a collective human spirit and a responsibility to make sure the world Remembers.

Never Again.
